network and gtk issues

gtk has issues like progress bars of software update is not visible. the bar is fat but half visible and scrollable. also if usb tethered interet is unplugged a network manager restart is always needed. plus i can not see hidden files at folder nav bar option. hell lot of issues with this distro. please fix it
