Please backport wpa 2.4-0ubuntu8 (main) from zesty to trusty.

Reason for the backport:

The newer wpa package includes many improvements for hostapd.

FYI, I found https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wpa/+bug/1475633 ... not sure if that is related or helps scope this work. Backporting wpa 2.6 would be fine too.

I also tried

  backportpackage -u ppa:meonkeys/csats -b -s zesty -d trusty wpa

But it doesn't work... I must need to do some kind of pbuilder setup first. Output snippet:

  E: failed to find /var/cache/pbuilder/base.tgz, have you done <pbuilder create> to create your base tarball yet?
  backportpackage: Error: Failed to build wpa_2.4-0ubuntu8~ubuntu14.04.1~ppa1.dsc from source with pbuilder.

Sorry, I'm not sure why requestbackport picked "yakkety"... this is supposed to be a backport request for trusty. 64-bit 14.04.5 LTS, specifically.

Ubuntu 14.04 (trusty) reached end-of-life on April 25, 2019.
