Bug Description
Unable to start ubuntu-
On first boot it requires network configuration, it detects the Wi-Fi hardware but after repeatedly trying the configuration (all defaults except network name and passphrase) it will not connect. It shows progress, first 33% for about a second, then 66% for around 30 seconds, then reports "Network configuration timed out; please verify your settings.".
* Wi-Fi router verified to be working at the time on other devices.
* Wi-Fi hardware on Raspberry Pi verified to be working using OSMC (Debian).
* Network name checked and correct.
* Passphrase entered carefully many times.
After failing, clicking Cancel restarts the process, this time the wireless hardware is not shown.
After cycling the power, although the network configuration is remembered, the outcome is the same first time, then attempting to cancel the system displays what looks like a stack trace then quickly shows what looks like a terminal login screen then quickly returns to the "Press entry to configure." screen, pressing enter shows the "Ubuntu Core ... [Start]" screen, pressing enter again gives the stack trace and so on.
The SD requires re-flashing to get back to the original failure pattern.
