Only downloads from Flickr once I restart computer, not on intervall

Bug Description
I set the interval to download images every minute and change background every 2 minutes (and other configurations as well) but I only seem to get one picture per restart.
What's wrong? Is this is a limitation from Flickr?
Variety version 0.6.0
Ubuntu 16.04 running Unity
