Bug Description

There is massive regressions on today update. I have lost my call history and all my messages.

The phone and messages app takes more than 20sec to boot instead of the 4sec.

I believe there was a big landing for those two apps today (group chat support)

Updated an MX4 test device, I lost some message threads (12/2 and 8/3 remain) and some call history (nothing after 10/7) but not all
Startup time for the apps is fine.

I got this as well on my bq E5 on rc-proposed r489.
I only switched from stable to rc-proposed without wiping my data.
I'll try to attached some logs.
I'll also try if receiving a call or a message will fix it.

My call history was back after receiving an SMS but my messages are still not back. I attached the messages app log file maybe it could help.

After rebooting, the issue came back but a call fixes it again except the messages.

Answering a call fixes everything just like comment #3. Probably this is worth a look because it might happen to some people in the next OTA (if there even is).
