Bug Description
I know this isn't very helpful, but I have no idea how I'd go about writing something like this!
What I'd really like to see is an AWN applet for NetworkManager, similar to nm-applet under GNOME (and the equivalent KDE app).

Tehk began work on this but found there were issues with Network-Manager documentation.

Last I asked he was planning on reviving the project with the next version of NM which is to be properly documented.
