Hercules DJControl Instinct MixxxControl(s) not found

Upon loading preset for Hercules DJControl Instinct (who works properly in general) in Mixxx version 2.0.0~dfsg-6 on Ubuntu I get the error:

Mixxx - MixxxControl(s) not found

One or more MixxxControls specified in the outputs section of the loaded preset were invalid.

Some LEDs or other feedback may not work correctly.

* Check to see that the MixxxControl names are spelled correctly
in the mapping file (.xml)
* Make sure the MixxxControls in question actually exist. Visit this

MIDI output message 0x90 0x57 has invalid MixxxControl
[Channel2], flanger
MIDI output message 0x90 0x43 has invalid MixxxControl
[Channel2], flanger

The file that is copied by Mixxx to ~/.mixxx/controllers is Hercules_DJControl_Instinct_MID.midi.xml and its contents is http://pastebin.com/vYC1w5Kz

Please fix this.

Is there also a workaround. I have found https://github.com/ratte/mixxxcontrollermapping but have no idea if this is more current and/or supported by Mixxx.

This bug has already been addressed.

The updated mapping will be shipped with Mixxx 2.0.1 (or 2.1.0, whatever it will be).

in the meantime, you can update the file in <mixxx_location>/controllers/Hercules DJ Control Instinct.midi.xml
with the file from here: https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/blob/master/res/controllers/Hercules%20DJ%20Control%20Instinct.midi.xml

Are there any careful predictions on when a new release will be out?

By the way, is there a reason why the file /usr/share/mixxx/controllers/Hercules DJ Control Instinct.midi.xml has spaces and the file /.mixxx/controllers/Hercules_DJControl_Instinct_MID.midi.xml has underscores?

yes, there is a reason for file naming this way, this is the naming convention: http://www.mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php/contributing_mappings#file_naming_convention
