Bug Description

The openstack-swift-object-expirer service needs to be running on the controller nodes (or more specifically, it is normaly run on the proxy nodes but could be run anywhere in a Swift cluster).

Otherwise expired objects will not be deleted automatically.

    Enable object-expirer on Swift proxy profile

    This service is required to delete expired automatically. It is often
    run on the proxy nodes, therefore adding it to the Swift proxy profile.
