gnome-software (Ubuntu Software) crashed after system update on Xenial

[Step to Reproduce]
1. install the system
2. click the dash to launch "system updater" GUI
3. update the system with GUI ( so I could update the system to 4.4.0-47-generic #68-Ubuntu)
4. reboot
5. after reboot, click the Ubuntu Software icon on the launcher.

[Expected Result]
Ubuntu Software is opened and ready to use.

[Actual Result]
Ubuntu Software could not be opened.

I try it today on a dell machine that's just fresh install from dell recovery, I can't reproduce it.

it's xenial running gnome-software 3.20.1+git20161013.0.d77d6cf-0ubuntu2~xenial1.

not sure if it's because the updated gonpme-software fix it.
