Please note that the same issue was reported for 3.16.8 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/1618851/) and 3.16.9 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/1630028), so I repeat my plea that you make this part of your release process, otherwise you're breaking printing for everyone who is forced to use hplip-plugin after each new release.

The plugins will be made available in some time. We are trying to make the plugin available ASAP. You can try hp-plugin to download the latest plugin or it is also available in following location: http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/plugin/hplip-3.16.11-plugin.run

same problem with 3.17.7 - would you mind releasing new hplip version after plugin is available or change default download link to link which you suggested in comment #1, if it is available there sooner than on openprinting.org website?

I managed to manually locate and download the required files, but, can it be fixed?
