Hi Runar
does this happens using the cc-license-viewer plugin provided by Ubuntu?

How can I find out whether it's this or that plugin? I have just
installed the package to get the adblocker.

The cc-license-viewer is activated. So since the traceback includes the name of that plugin I assume now that the answer to your question is: yes, I do use the cc-license-viewer plugin provided by Ubuntu.

i suspect that this isn't the plugin shipped in the ubuntu package due his location, you could try to move away those files and see if it's works, i mean move away the /home/runar/.gnome2/epiphany/extensions/cc-license-viewer.*, backing up first, just in case.

the plugin shipped with epiphany-extensions should be located at /usr/lib/epiphany/2.20/extensions/, please do not overwrite the files in this location with those located at /home/runar/.......

I removed the .gnome2/epiphany/extensions folder and the problem disappeared.
