LPE Parallel crashes Inkscape with Text converted to Path.

Steps:
0) Create a new Inkscape document
1) Select the Text tool and write a word
2) Press F1 to go back to Select mode (make sure Text object created in step 1 is selected)
3) Go to: Path > Object to Path
4) Go to: Path > Path Effects... > Add > Parallel

Inkscape crashes.

I did not test if this is happening with other objects converted to paths or simply more complex paths (likely).

Using Inkscape 0.92pre3 r15213.

Please note that the path-effect 'Parallel' is among the experimental LPEs which are disabled now in default builds based on the stable release branch [1]:

[1] at least with CMake-based builds (official build system) since rev 15045 - in legacy autotools-based builds, all experimental features are still enabled (the multiple build systems still supported in the stable release branch are not entirely kept in sync, unfortunately).

Crash reproduced with lp:inkscape/0.92.x r15208 (on OS X 10.7.5): applying the experimental (unstable) 'Parallel' LPE to a group [1] produces a crash:
1) launch inkscape (default prefs, default new doc)
2) draw a line
3) group it (Ctrl+G)
4) apply 'Parallel' LPE to group
--> crash

[1] text converted to path produces a group containing individual paths (per glyph)
