Bug Description
Binary package hint: linux-generic
I downloaded the current image for 7.10 amd64 alt install disk, and began install. It stopped when trying to install the kernel, and said there was a problem with the package.

Seems like the cd-image was corrupt. Please burn it with a low speed and check it afterwards (from the boot menu for instance).
