Installation crashes on grub install

Bug Description
Cannot install grub on /dev/sda. This is a critical error, Continue without installing grub? You will need to install manually. Okay, ... Critical error can not continue....report error?
Sorry, details a little jumbled as I am reporting from memory. Logs should tell much more and better. This is the third disk I have made from the ISO download. All are flawed and fail to boot, or install, but at different points. I have tried with three different drives. This is the second download of the ISO. Very large difference in the size from September to October.
One more point. The original issue was the Upgrade/
