Bug Description

Binary package hint: scim-hangul

Recently scim-hangul has updated to 0.3.x. There was significant change between 0.2.x and 0.3.x. In version 0.2.x, several different Korean keyboard layouts are offered as seperate IM Engines. However, in version 0.3.x, there are only "one" Korean keyboard layout and different layout is configurable on the IM Engines's setup. Because there is no configuration module of scim-hangul in skim, so i HAVE TO install scim-gtk related things, which isn't quite needed in KDE environment. It is critical misfeature for users who doesn't use 2-bulsik layout. It will affect to future versions of Kubuntu, including Hardy.

The skim module is intentionally disabled in the Debian/Ubuntu package. It has also been requested before, for example in bug #34472.

I don't use KDE myself so I can't work on it. Patches are welcome.
