In Columns view, breadcrumbs/path/location bar does not update on switching tabs

Premise:
On elementaryOS Loki 0.4, running Pantheon Files 0.3.0.3.1, using Columns view, with two or more tabs open. For our case, let's consider three tabs open, namely: Tab 1, Tab 2, and Tab 3.

Bug:
When switching from Tab 1 to Tab 2, the location bar still shows location for Tab 1. When switching from Tab 2 to Tab 3, the location bar still shows location for Tab 1.
Until you open another folder in Tab 2 or Tab 3, it continues to show location for Tab 1.

There's also something super strange that I've noticed. If I change the location in either Tab 2 or Tab 3, it updates the location bar, as it should. If I now go back to Tab 1, the location gets updated to Tab 1's location. But not always!
