Bug Description
If you put a slash in the filename, it fails to write it. This means that filenames are not being correctly sanitized.
It is very natural to put a slash in a filename from gnome-screenshot because that is how dates are delimited in the US.
Filenames should be sanity checked and sanitized by some standard means. They should probably not be interpreted as paths.
