Bug Description

Keyboard and mouse is supposed to just work.

With Ubuntu GNOME 16.10 (clean install) keyboard and mouse randomly stops working. It doesn't appear to be a system freeze as anything that's running appears to still be working. Ubuntu just fails to receive any keyboard and mouse input. The only 'fix' is to reset the PC. As far as I can tell, there's no pattern to it. I could be browsing the web and it just suddenly stops working, or it could be idle for a while and I can't get the monitor to wake up from sleep.

Sometimes I could use the system for days without incident, and sometimes it just keeps on 'freezing' within minutes after a reset. Alt+SysReq+reisub doesn't work at all.
