gtk menu items shifted down

Using Xubuntu 7.10 64-bit. (But It also was a bug on 7.04)

When I want to save document on every application (I think those that rely on gtk)
Drop-down menu shows list of available file types (or items if it is not save as dialog)
but it is not positioned right, so that all listed items on drop-down menu are shifted down on menu
so that first couple of lines on list are blank, unpopulated with items..
When you scroll through the list, it populates the list during scroll.

It happens on every program and every drop-down menu.(in gtk applications)

Here is the Bug as it appears on GIMP as example gtk application.
Bug is shown on every drop down menu,, even short ones.

Thanks for your report, that's known upstream it's fixed according to this: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129463 some upstream comments:

"good that this bug is already closed. otherwise I would be tempted to WONTFIX it at this point"
