kpdf does not display a document

Binary package hint: kpdf

The attached PDF is not displayed at all by KPDF. kghostview, xpdf and ePDFview could not render it either. Adobe Reader displayed it fine.

Displayed correctly in Foxit Reader v2.2 and Adobe Reader on Windows v7.09.

So for me kpdf is displays this document, I attached a screenshot of kpdf displaying this, and would like to know if the rendering is correct.

Please tell us also which, version of Ubuntu you are using and the exact package version (i.e. with the command "dpkg -l kpdf)

Yes that is the correct rendering.

I tried again with kpdf and I still get a blank page.

I am on Kubuntu Gutsy.

I assume this is already fixed in KDE 3.5.9. It would be great if you could test this in Hardy Heron with KDE 3.5.9. It should be easily reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD. http://cdimages.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/releases/hardy/beta/

 It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at [WWW] http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ .

You're right. I am writing this from the latest Hardy beta DVD and it works fine. Thanks for looking. :-)
