Bug Description

cubemap fails to create user cubemap which causes systemd unit to fail to start

Workaround:

    sudo adduser --system --home /var/lib/cubemap
    sudo chown -Rc cubemap /var/lib/cubemap /var/log/cubemap
    sudo systemctl restart cubemap.service

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue. The bug has been fixed in cubemap 1.3.1-3 currently in zesty. To fix this in yakkety, someone needs to apply http://launchpadlibrarian.net/298145325/cubemap_1.3.1-2_1.3.1-3.diff.gz to the version in yakkety and push it through the SRU process https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates.

Hi Steve, I saw your comment and believe this is likely the same issue as bug 1561306. Therefore an SRU (or at least a nomination) for 16.04 might be useful as well.
