Bug Description

I use elementary OS on a HP Elitebook 8440p and the function buttons below the screen don't work properly. Volume buttons are working but I can't use the button to switch my wi-fi on or off. I hadn't any problems while using elementary OS freya before.

Hi Marian,

Have you tried running Ubuntu 16.04.1 on your laptop, and do you have the same problem there? It would be helpful to know if this is a problem with Elementary's OS patches or with the base Ubuntu distro.

Sorry for the late answer, no I haven't tried it on Ubuntu 16.04, because I use my laptop as a productive system.
Most buttons work like normal. Its the button to turn wifi on/off that doesn't work properly.
I can turn the wifi off without problems, but to turn it on again, I have to open the network settings, go to wifi settings and click the button there.
Do you think it will be enough to test it on Ubuntu 16.04 running in VirtualBox?

Hello,

No, running in a VM won't help. But running on a live USB stick would.
