compiz doesn't save the workspaces across sessions

Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
When I shut down the computer and log in again the windows I carefully put on different workspaces appear all again on the 1rst workspace.
I am using a custom Compiz configuration. Somehow a minimal cube configuration.
Remembering worksspace states across logins is essetial for vortual desktopn window managers.
