Bug Description
Network connection occasionaly goes dead, with
phy0 -> rt2x00pci_

appearing in the syslog.
Only a reboot helps to get the connection back, not unloading/loading the module. Not reproducable, but happens from time to time.

I can't comment on the exact error messages, but I'm also having frequent dropouts with a rt61-based Linksys WRT54G card. If the rt2x00 module provided with linux-ubuntu- modules is as old as has been suggested then it's not surprising that people are having problems. Before I switched from Gentoo I was using a recent CVS version of the rt2x00 modules (November) with no problems whatsoever. It would be a great help if the one provided with linux-ubuntu- modules could be updated to a more recent snapshot.
