Bug Description

0.94.0 fixes compatibility with recent ipod firmware. This can be a pretty serious problem for anyone trying to put more than 256 tracks on an ipod.

gtkpod V0.94.0
...
BUGFIX: Fixed compatibility issue with new firmware 3.1 and iTunes 4.9 (only 256 tracks were shown on the iPod, iTunes removed the majority of the tracks from the iPod). Podcasts are still not supported, however, and will be lost when handled by gtkpod.

0.93.1 is what's in breezy, and my point is that it should be upgraded before breezy's release if possible.

Oh, and further, I downloaded the debian/sid package and it solved my problem.

Here's to hoping this can be fixed before breezy is released. ipod users will be surely surprised when their music disappears after syncing with this version of gtkpod.

If there's any way I can personally do to further the packaging of 0.94.0 for breezy, please let me know.

As a ping on this bug, as well as to add more information, debian/testing has the 0.94.0-1 package: http://packages.debian.org/testing/sound/gtkpod
