Removing /writable/ kills the system

Bug Description
STORY:
User see some text that says remove /writable/ to reset the system so does.
STEPS:
1. Install core
2. Setup user in console-conf
3. SSH into the system
4. sudo rm -rf /writable/
5. Power off once complete
EXPECTED:
I expect the system to still be able to boot due to it's read only system
ACTUAL:
The system becomes completely unbootable due to the system snaps being in /writable/

We want to be much more robust here and use "chattr -i" to protect the most important files. This is no grantee of course but it will make the system much more resilient against accidental failures.
