Bug Description
Slighshot text field shows grayed out and takes no keyboard input. All input goes to the inactive application window in the background. Slingshot responds as respected to mouse input. It can be reproduced consistently when the background window is a VirtualBox VM.

Actually, it's not just slingshot. No keyboard input is taken. For instance, keys to adjust volume and mute sound have no effect if a VirtualBox window is focused.
