Pressing the volume up & down key, not illuminating the screen

Bug Description
Currently, when I turn up or down the volume, I have to then press the power button on my E5 (phone) to see what the volume level is. Is there a setting that I can activate in Ubuntu Touch, to illuminate the screen, when the volume up or down button is clicked?
