Hi,
    I just downloaded and installed Inkscape from the site:
 https://inkscape.org/en/~theAdib/galleries/inkscape-092/
    I used the 32 bit installer, .exe version. As far as I can tell, the
file inkscape.com is missing, so that it is not possible for me to see the
output that Inkscape would normally generate in DOS. For example, I cannot
confirm the version number in DOS, using inkscape -V.

Alvin used the rev15110. It seems cmake does not generate incskape.com at all.

should be fixed for the 0.92 release

just writing to confirm that this bug is still present in the pre2 build as well:
Inkscape 0.92pre2 15127 (Oct 21 2016)
