Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

This error seems to match the one found in LP# 1205605. Could you please removing any other mysql-client packages first and then install mysql-client-5.7?

Hi,

This report expired back in 2016 as it didn't contain enough information to confirm this issue is a bug, or to begin working on it. If you are facing a similar issue to the one described here please file a new bug report, as the already scarce 4 years old information we have here are unlikely to be of any help. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. Thanks!
