Can't install account-plugin-owncloud next to owncloud-client

When trying to install the account-plugin-owncloud on Ubuntu 16.10, the install stops with the following information in the terminal:

Unpacking account-plugin-owncloud (0.13+16.10.20160929.1-0ubuntu1) ...
