Bug Description

Tentei bootar o Ubuntu mas mas o sistema da um erro de KERNEL PANIC, gostaria de saber se existe alguma forma de instalar o sistema UBUNTU nessa máquina?
características do computador:
Processador amd athlon 64 x2 dual core
placa-mãe asus m2n-mx
HD de 80GB
Gravadora de dvd sata
1GB de memória RAM

The guy says that he tried to install Ubuntu but he has an "KERNEL PANIC" error. He would like to know if there is a way to install Ubuntu on his computer.

He needs to give the kernel the noapic option because the asus bios is far from perfect and the kernel hangs if it tries to handle the apic
