iwlwifi drivers need updating

The iwlwifi drivers from http://www.intellinuxwireless.org/ have had several new releases, which all contain bugfixes, since the last update in Ubuntu.

As of this writing the latest iwlwifi driver is 1.1.21, released on Nov 1 2007

Does that happens also with an other Ubuntu Version? For example with the latest Ubuntu developer version Hardy beta one?

If your card is not working, can you please provide the following informations:
What kind of wifi card do you have?
What is the output from uname -a ?
What is the output from lspci ?

Beginning with the Hardy Heron 8.04 development cycle, all open Ubuntu kernel bugs need to be reported against the "linux" kernel package. We are automatically migrating this linux-source-2.6.15 kernel bug to the new "linux" package. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this transition. AFAIK, iwlwifi is included in the official kernel now, so this issue is moot. It was already updated before it got included as well. So I recommend closing this bug.
