SQL database in Newton Installation Tutorial For Ubuntu 16.04

In Finalize installation section:
step 2. Secure the database service by running the mysql_secure_installation script. In particular, choose a suitable password for the database root account.

Using command "# mysql_secure_installation" needs to give a password rather than none(press enter directly)
It should enter default password "pass" at first time

While installing mysql, we will give a password. So, during secure installation IMHO i feel that you will be asked if you want to change the password.

I try again to install database using step.1 command in another machine.
$ sudo apt-get install mariadb-server
It doesn't ask me the root password.

The word is "choose", not "enter". i.e. we need to enter the chosen password at the "mysql_secure_installation" step.
