Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

New security update related to samba failed. Looks like file permission error. See messages below.

Step to reproduce: try to install update for files listed below

Running Ubuntu 7.10, Toshiba A15-S129, Celeron Processor.

Error Message:

  403 Forbidden

I've marked this a duplicate of a samba bug 163042, which explains the reason why
the files are inaccessible (the update contained a new bug), but the actual symptom
(403 forbidden) seems to be discussed in bug 163116.
