Please backport hardy version into gutsy-backports

Binary package hint: update-notifier

Please backport 0.65 from hardy into gutsy-backports. The changes:

update-notifier (0.65) hardy; urgency=low

  * use getgroups() instead of getgrouplist() to work better
    with stuff from pam_groups (thanks to Sebastian Dröge)
  * add 22x22 and 24x24 icons (thanks to Alan Baghumian)

This is important for some people using e.g. ldap to get their group settings.

Filed against Gusty Backports as per https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports . Is this backport still required, and if so, which version? update-notifier 0.61 is the version in Gutsy; 0.71 is the version currently in Intrepid.

Michael Vogt is one of main developers of update-notifier - I think he knows why it requested the backport, but, it seems, he forgot to answer. I think we can leave the status of this bugreport as Incomplete, until Michael Vogt write a comment.
