Bug Description
Execution of SHOW FULL COLUMNS from tableName is slow (in the range of 100-200ms) for any kind of table, no matter the content. The execution time is highly dependent of server load (large amount of read queries across multiple tables lead to longer execution times). For an idle server, the reported execution is in the range of microseconds.
Server version 5.6.28-76-1, OS: Ubuntu server 14.04
