When using zoom, mouse position doesn't correspond to click position

Bug Description

To reproduce:
1. enable desktop effects
2. enable enhanced desktop zoom
3. select the enhanced desktop zoom
4. on the mouse behaviour tab :
5. uncheck 'sync mouse'
6. check mouse panning
7. use zoom in ( super + mouse scroll, be default)
8. Try to click something. The click won't be where the cursor is seen.

Used packages: default gutsy packages (upgrade from feisty)

It seems that this bug appeares only when "scale the mouse poniter" option is turned off.

The cursor also appears incorrectly, see the attachement: it changes its shape not in the edit box, but near it.

Confirming. If "Hide original mouse pointer" is unchecked, the behaviour is even wierder and totally uncontrollable.

This is not supposed to work, enable sync mouse again.

Then at least the "sync mouse" checkbox should be disabled -- the user wouldn't know that this feature is not working.
