No "@" allowed in password

Bug Description
Using an "@" symbol in the password leads to a connection failure.
The "@" is read as the divider between password and url.
Maybe they need to be escaped in passwords.

This can be fixed by manually escaping the "@" symbol by replacing it with "%40".
