Bug Description

For a better user experience, it would be awesome if the indicator items could be arranged in the fallowing way:
-Add the desktop mode toggle to the system indicator independent of the display size.
-Add a second toggle switch to select if the phones screen is working as mouse pointer or as a cloned screen.
-Move the lock rotation toggle from the rotation indicator to the system indicator.

Thus all toggle switches, which influence the systems behaviour would be at one place. Further more the rotation indicator could be deleted, because it is empty.

Impractical situations, where this better userexperince is needed:

If the external screen resolution is not detected properly, Ubuntu Touch does not switch into desktop mode. Manually switching to desktop mode would help. (Nexus 4 shows no toggle switch. )

Holding a presentation with a Ubuntu Touch device is impractical, if I need to access the mouse pointer on the device's screen which then works as touch pad. A cloned display would be better.

Normally, if I am holding a presentation or working in desktop mode, the external screen cannot rotate suddenly. So the lock rotate switch could be easily next to the other toggle switches.

There are 10 Indicator sections. After pulling the indicator bar down, there is not enough space for them. (Nexus 4 portrait mode). The rotation indicator has just one item. This wastes space. The lock rotation toggle switch should be better placed at the System Indicator.

All in all, your points make sense, but we've a bit different solutions in mind:
- you will be able to change the behaviour of every screen separately, in the same area you'll be able to change screen resolutions etc. - that's where you'd choose a screen to go into desktop mode
- the "mouse pointer" function will become an app that you can launch on the phone while connected to an external screen - but you won't have to.
- rotation of the phone screen does not affect the external screen (unless they'd be cloned, but see next point why it would be better not to), and the rotation lock you would configure in the same place where you set resolutions and usage modes
- whatever presentation app you use could provide a "remote control" window that would be displayed on your phone - think of the LibreOffice extension "presenter console"
