Gutsy wont install screen rez is only 798x 460

Hi i am succesfully running Kubuntu 7.04 ..I just got my free disks from Canonical of both Ubuntu and Kubuntu when launching from Windows XP ( a separate hard drive ) the install to try out will only let me see screen rez of 798 x 460 so I cant even use the features..Trying to set screen rez does not work... When I try to install permanatly on my other hard drive the one currently with a succesful build of Kubuntu 7.04 I can not get screen rez ..sharp enough to install...and it too is also 798 x 460 ...The go to and next buttons can't be found I cant install it even on a new hard drive....
My PC is home build ASUS PVR800V board P4 3.2 ghz 1 gig memory ram...I have been using Linux producxts sicne SuSe 9.1 series KDE and I can not install this new version 7.10 it is not recognizing my Radeon ATI graphics card...Since I cant install it I can not send you templates of my system..as it is not installed...I am merely reporting that I can not install it and I have been able to install all version s of Ubuntu since 5.10

Just passing the info along ..hope it can be fixed I was hoping to see the new compiz and beryl fusion but..I am still most happy with my 7.04 Feisty Kubuntu

No reply, closing the bug. If you can reproduce the issue with Hardy feel free to reopen, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log.
