Bug Description
Since upgrading to yakkety on this machine I see frequent instances of the screen "scrambling," for lack of a better work. What I mean is that for a split second things appear at the wrong location on the screeen, as though the video has lost sync temporarily. Then it returns to normal. It happens frequently but not on a regular interval - I'd estimate anywhere between 5 and 30 seconds between occurrences in general.
I'm running a 4.8 kernel from the canonical-

I just had one of these which lasted for about 30 seconds and got a picture, which I am attaching. This is different than what I perceive from the momentary corruption, but those are so quick that it's hard to be sure of what I'm seeing.
