When I choose an image from the ~/Pictures folder rather than a background provided by elementary, the background goes black

Bug Description
Open System Settings > Desktop > Wallpaper > Pictures (bottom left)
Choose any image, wallpaper turns black

This is not a problem with pictures folder, it's a filename problem. Any image with spaces in the filename will show this issue (it should be something easy to fix).
