mobile broadband not working in loki

If you click on "edit connections" in the system-settings->networks. Then choose "new/create" , then you can actually select mobile broadband. But it won't show in the launchpad and you cannot use the mobile broadband connection

 You also don't get the popup for the simcard unlock (pin code) and you cannot select mobile broadband connection in launchpad. This worked in freya.
