Bug Description
Binary package hint: amarok
When trying to configure a device (in my case a Samsung YP T7F, but googling around revealed that this bug is not limited to this player) to play files other than mp3 and wma, the config window saves the format with a & symbol somewhere in the format name (e.g. &ogg or mp&g). As a result, Amarok always forgets the settings and is unable to transfer files other than the two formats above. Playing these files in Amarok functions fine.
The configuration can be patched manually by going into the ~/.kde/
Hope this can get fixed soon, I have just one device and already configured, but this could be a serious annoyance to many people who use amarok daily :)
Last note: I believe the bug was inserted with today's updates; but the bug has been reported already some days ago at this url: http://
Thanks for the attention.
This was fixed upstream in version 1.4.8.
