The icon issue seems to be a red herring. I have now install this version of Openshot in a Fedora 24 libvirt VM and it runs fine. Going back to same hardware host no VM I ran Openshot with strace. I have attached an strace output file. It seems to fail on an fusermount call.
I'm wondering if I could have an issue from having previous installs of Openshot. How do you completely remove it?
