Unable to install Kimchi on Ubuntu 16.04 ppc64le

Machine Type = Tuleta

---Steps to Reproduce---
1. Install Ubuntu 16.04 ppc64le on Tuleta.
2. Run "sudo su -", enter password.
3. Run "apt-get update"
4. Run "apt-get install qemu-kvm libvirt-bin ubuntu-vm-builder bridge-utils
5. Turn off SMT8:
root@ubuntu:/# ppc64_cpu --smt
SMT=8
root@ubuntu:/# ppc64_cpu --smt=off
root@ubuntu:/# ppc64_cpu --smt
SMT is off
6. Run "apt-get install kimchi"
The message "Setting up kimchi (1.5.0-0ubuntu1) ..." remains indefinitely.
