Is there anything non-standard about your setup? What else did you install? Did you install Loki using a fresh install?

I've had this same tearing issue since my fresh install of Loki on an HP Elitebook. I have Intel HD 4000 as my card. Moving windows around, scrolling in firefox, and playing videos in VLC and Kodi causes noticeable tearing.

Hi,
I'm having the same issue.
Diagonal screen tearing (mostly from upper left-hand corner to lower right-hand corner) on a Lenovo T420s with a Intel i5-2540M and Intel HD Graphics 3000.
It is a very common graphic card so it seems strange to be getting trouble from it.

Also experiencing this on a fresh Loki install.
Hardware is an HP Envy M6=ar004dx with AMD FX 9800p apu.
This is a 1920 x 1080p higher dpi screen.
