Bug Description
When selecting text in a scale widget (eg. width or height), you can either use the mouse or keyboard navigation (arrow keys, Pos1, End) to move the caret to the character that you want to edit.
When using the End key to move the caret to the last digit, the scale widget changes the number to the maximum value (which may be infinity or 10000). Firstly this is not useful because it's a huge number, and may dangerously also affect rendering performance in complex files. Secondly, the user expectation is likely that it affects the caret position like the arrow left/right in other applications.
Is this a design decision or bug in inkscape or the GTK toolkit (which package?).
