Bug Description

When playing video in OTA-11 and OTA-12 from the browser or one of the Youtube apps from the store, the video framerate is noticeably low and the battery drains tens of percent after only 20-30 minutes. After reloading the same M10 with the latest Android 5 images from BQ, video playback is full speed and does not use a noticeable amount of battery.

There is work in process that uses available hardware video decoders, today this is done in software in the browser

Santosh, for me, it was any 1080p video. Compare it to a desktop PC or Andorid device.
